Halloween is literally just around the corner, and if you are anything like me and are extremely last minute, then this post is perfect for you. I will be sharing some unique, and different couple/ duo Halloween costumes that are unique and different, not your usual 'Catwoman and Batman' overdone outfits. So here goes!
Mr & Mrs. Wormwood
Starting off with my favourite idea of all time which I remember seeing on TikTok a while ago now (@ammorgan), and haven't seen many other couples do it since, Mr & Mrs. Wormwood from the movie Matilda. I think this costume would be hilarious to do, and instantly recognizable for everyone. For Mrs. Wormwood, you could curl and mess up your hair, wear a purple skirt and red jacket and do her iconic blue eye shadow. Mr.Wormwood wears a suit and tie most of the time, and then all you need is the star of the show hat glued to your head alongside his signature mustache. I absolutely love this outfit and just think it is so iconic.

Kenny Rodgers and Dolly Parton
Another iconic duo, Kenny Rodgers and Dolly Parton is a costume I have not seen many dress up as the past few years but have always thought it would be a great Halloween costume to do, and also an easy one! Dolly is a classic country western star, so of course, you would need some cowboy boots and a hat, and to make it even more recognizable some sort of white embellished suit is a classic for Dolly. Her hair is always up in almost afro-like curls, and her makeup is always bright and bold. Kenny is seen most of the time wearing some sort of waistcoat and 70s-style trousers. You could get a silver beard and grey wig, alongside a pack of playing cards to get across his song 'The Gambler.' Top both the outfits off with a head microphone, and there you have an iconic Halloween costume I bet nobody else will have.
Marilyn Monroe and Joe Dimaggio
Marilyn Monroe is a classic Halloween costume I bet everyone has seen, but I haven't seen anyone dress up as her and her former boyfriend Joe DiMaggio, an American baseball player. Marilyn is pretty self-explanatory- white dress, classic pin curls, big earrings, and her signature beauty spot. For Joe, grab a baseball bat, baseball shirt, or jacket, and slick back your hair until it's practically plastic-looking with wax and you are done!
Bonnie And Clyde
Bonnie and Clyde are an American criminal couple who traveled the Central United States with their gang during the Great Depression. The couple was known for their bank robberies, although they preferred to rob small stores or rural funeral homes. This is such a good costume in my opinion, and not too hard to pull off. Just get some classic black hats, fake guns, and bags of money. For Clyde, grab some sort of suit and waistcoat and even put some fake blood on it. You can do a similar sort of thing for Bonnie, with a classic 30s style outfit with a skirt and boots.
Jack and Rose
There are many different ways you could go about this duo costume, you could either go down the route of dressing as them and making your face blue as though you are cold, with some lifevests to make it even more obvious, or you could dress as them all done up for a dance. This would mean a full tuxedo for Jack with the classic slick back hair, and a long gown for Rose with an updo and some heavy makeup.
Katniss Everdine and Peeta Mellark
This costume idea also has two routes you could go down. One option is Katniss and Peeta in their hunting gear, such as brown leather's and casual clothing. You could then buy fake bow and arrows, alongside some hunting equipment. Wear Katniss's hair in a classic side braid and create some fake cuts and bruises on Peeta's skin. You could also go down he more expensive route, and buy one of the fancy futuristic costumes such as the all-in-one metal armor suits with hunting equipment to embody Katniss and Peeta during the games. I think this is a really unique costume and I haven't seen anyone do this before other than on google.
